Mosaic Help . . . . .?
It seems like all the introductionary books I have on mosaic craft emphasize breaking your own pieces to your specifications and creating something. Well the problem is irregular pieces aren’t often sold therefore (or easy to break yourself when you have a baby crawling around) I have many, many, many squares tiles and yet I see no ‘patterns’ or examples of how to use only square mosaic tiles in a pattern.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

Unless your tiles are fairly small though, you won’t be able to do a lot of things with only squares besides square geometrics unless you have a large area for the mosaic.
HOWEVER, since needlepoint, cross-stitch, plastic canvas work, and even “Post It art,” all use basically equal-shaped and equal-size units for their patterns, the patterns used for them could also be done with tiles instead of x’s or other units of yarn/thread, I guess:
