Mosaic tiles – good idea or bad idea?
I’m redecorating the bathrooms of my town house. I want to tile the one wall in the shower with small blue Mosaic tiles, and the rest of the bathroom with plain white tiles. As it’s a very small en-suite, I’m thinking of using large tiles with either min space between them or with white grout. Is this too retro?
Also in the larger bathroom, I want to incorporate the blue mosaic tiles. Any idea of how I can do it? I really don’t want to put a line / stripe of mosaics around the room. I think it looks dated.
Any comments or ideas?
No its a good idea , I ve done it a few times for customers. If your into some thing a bit different but on the same idea , use iridescent glass tiles and they ll come in blue too. Along with many other colors too.
That alone will make your statement you may not have to do any thing else.
Possibly a counter back splash 4″ high to tie it in or replace a few regular tiles with some mosaics if the sizing is right.
