need help finding mosaic supplies?
hey guys thanks so much for your help. im starting to get into mosaic art. i am just begining and so i need help finding the supplies and knowing where to go to get them.
first where can i buy wood pieces?
where can i buy un broken tile?
where can i buy the nipper or im not sure wat its called but it breaks the tile?
where can i buy the plaster and wat is it called, the thing you used to fill in the final piece.
also what type of glue is best for it.
Tiles, Grout, Plaster, Wood, Nippers and anything else you need can be found at most Hardware stores like Lowes and Home Depot. If you’re just starting you can find kits and small packages of the various supplies at Michael’s Craft Stores. Other large craft stores like Hobby Lobby, Ben Franklin, etc. should also carry these supplies.
You can find more tiles at flooring stores as well.
You don’t need glue for mosiac work, you put the tiles on a thin coat of wet plaster, after that dries, you apply your grout.
