What is the best mothod for cutting ceramic tile (for fine art use)?
I am creating a mosaic and need ceramic tiles that are approx. 1/4″ x 1/4″ to 1″ x 1″. Doing this on the cheap, so power tools are out of the question. I love the idea of using abstract shapes from broken tiles and tips for that process are welcome as well. Any ideas? Thank you for your contributions!
If you wang regular rectangle tiles, I suggest you order some tiles form your local dealer, it should be few dollors per pound. very cheap resources.
If you dont need regular tiles, just use a hammer to knock them down. of course you need wear some protections for both your hand and eyes.
