What should I use to lay mosaic tiles on top of a wooden stool?
I’m a preschool director and have a craft idea for my kids and their parents. I have small 3 legged wooden stools with flat tops. I plan for them to lay small pieces of tile on top but don’t know what will hold them on there best… grout? plaster? any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Wood and tile do not play well together, because wood breathes [expands and contracts] and tile does not. There are products that de-couple the tile from the wood but they can be costly.
