Need info on Ancient roman mosaics please….?
I have to write a 2 page paper on roman mosaics..and I just need some little odd and in info..I have all the basic info..just need some other to make my paper longer.

how did mosaics influence the Romans?
Well, for one, Roman mosaics are the only way we know what Greek frescoes looked like. The Romans often “copied” Greek paintings into their mosaics. Like, in Pompeii, there’s a mosaic of Alexander the Great going to battle against Darius (Persia). This was originally a Greek wall fresco which has since been lost. Thanks to the Romans, we have a well-preserved copy of it. Later on, after the western Roman empire fell, the Byzantine Empire incorporated mosaics into their churches and buildings – that style remained mostly unchanged from around the 5th Century CE up until the 15th Century CE.
